Yesterday was busy, I was tired, so I am writing this today.  But I am sure you realized that.  Some people *coughAARONcough* have asked me why “beautiful feet,” saying that it’s a lame analogy.  It comes from Isaiah 52:7.

7 How beautiful on the mountains, are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

For me it’s pretty simple.  According to this verse someone with beautiful feet is a person who brings the truth of Christ and the peace he offers to people.  I try to do this, but I don’t do it as often as I want hence my feet are somewhat lovely.  I’m striving to be one who always proclaims God’s good news and truth.  Often for me these moments are hidden behind a whole lot of surface conversations, sarcasm and jabs at my friends.  These are all done with a mutual understanding, but…  I often wonder how much it contradicts what I really want to portray with my life.

Well, yet again my journey to become manly has taken my taste buds to where few taste buds have gone before a.k.a. Da Bomb Final Answer Hot Sauce.  For those of you unfamiliar with the scale for hotness it is called the Scoville scale.  On the low end we have Bell Peppers at a whopping zero scoville units (su) Jalepenos are between 2,500 – 8,000su.  The hot sauce I had was 1,500,000 su.  (see chart below)  There wasn’t much of a story to go beyond that.  I tried it, it was pretty hot, I coughed once or twice and my throat burned for like 10 minutes but no tears!  I feared a Wingstop Atomic Sauce fiasco as experienced a few years back… luckily not.  Let’s just say it wasn’t to bad going in…

Later in the day, after my jog (exercise dropping <– This is like the name drop of a famous friend you have, but it’s pointing out that you exercise more than the average person.)  I think I noticed a few chest hairs growing, I assume this is related to the hot sauce and not some innate inner manliness.

If only I could have seen my lady on Father’s Day and perhaps received a card from my daughter (Abby my dog).  Closest thing I have at this point.  I hope all you fathers had a great day.  Glad to hear my brother did a great job on Sunday way to go man!!  I’m coming home for 12 hours on Sunday only to leave again on Thursday for Jordan.  I’m already dreading the flight.  Pray for my energy level, I’m already feeling it.
