This will be short.  Today was a great day!  We had a wonderful time eating a famous Jordan dish called Mansaf.  The meal was so delicious.  When I told our class that we had mansaf they were very excited.  Then I told them that we ate chicken with it instead of lamb.  They told us “you have not had mansaf!”  I do not think this is true, it was very good!  Mansaf is normally served with Lamb but sometimes will be served with chicken.  We had a great time with our host family and saw a the site of a new Alliance School for children that will be built in the next few years.  It is a very exciting time!

Class was wonderful tonight.  We talked about food and weather.  Our students are doing very well and Bethany is doing very well at getting the quizzes graded in class.  Our students like this!  They are able to see how they did right away.  We got in groups and discussed the weather in London and Sydney and taught the other groups.  It was very fun and each group.  Bethany’s group made it interesting and Bethany acted as a news reporter asking different people what they weather was like at different times.  My group was very impressed “You are a good reporter!”  They said.  Our class has many laughs it is a good time!

After class many students from all classes went to Rainbow St.  It is a famous street in Jordan.  Many times there are sidewalk musicians playing.  Last night there weren’t musicians but many people eating, talking, laughing and having a good time.  My new friend Omar had suggested it.  Many students from our class were able to go and we had a great time with Abdullah, Hammah, Omar, Anas, Islam, Mohammad and so many more.  We love our students and it was a blessing to have them with us.  I cannot wait to post pictures but for now we must go.
