Today was a lazy day, unlike yesterday, it was nice to just sit and relax. I would have made a video but I figured you wouldn’t want a five minute song with video of us sitting on couches, eating food and preparing for our lessons. You are familiar enough with the first two things oohhhh laziness burn! So I believe that my iPhone has been lost. We are going to the house of the man who has the van I believe it to be in. But they have looked in it twice so i do not expect to find anything. This is a bummer, but I have not let it effect me. I am having a fantastic time.

Class tonight was excellent. We love our students and by now have memorized all of their names. Bethany did a great job at grading quizzes last night and was able to grade on a curve because many of the students had trouble with two questions. Today we were able to go back and forth easily between Bethany and I teaching. She taught very well, a lot of improvement from yesterday. I have a good time teaching with her!  We are like a finally tuned machine a Terminator robot for example… but nicer.

Today we gave our students our Facebook account in order to keep in touch and allow for continual teaching when we are back in the states. But that is not all! We offered to go out to eat at Lebnani Snack in Amman. This was very exciting. I remember being taken there 4 years ago and I loved their cocktails (blended fruit smooth with whole grapes, kiwi, strawberry, apple, banana) soooo good! Our student Omar told us of Lebnani Snack and then I remembered that it was a place I had been before. Sooo Good. I would say my favorite phrase on this trip so far is “very good” I say it all the time to students and now to the other team members.

We had a great time at Lebnani Snack and 5 of our students and 1 former student came to eat with us. It was very exciting that they were able to come. We had a great time talking about culture, religion and politics you know… all the things you don’t discuss back home. It was very good, unfortunately, I am not so well versed in politics but I did my best. It was so fun, they invited us tomorrow to go to Rainbow street a well known popular place close to the center. We are very excited. Our students were so generous in offerings rides and offering to pay for meals. I feel bad accepting, I did so reluctantly. It is so wonderful feeling the hospitality of our students on a day to day basis.

We truly love our class and we will sincerely miss them when we go home.
