Today I found out I have the spiritual gift of pushing students down on large slip n slides.  I asked for their permission first of course.  I made a montage of it with a total of 20 pushes, not bad for a days work.  Yakety Sax (see here) provided the soundtrack to my montage.

No jogging yet, but I’m going to go out after our video plays.  We spent all day compiling the video, just finished at 8:55 p.m.  Long day.  Today we put together the camp DVDs for the pastors, it’s going to be a long night.

Today I had a shadow named Colin.  He’s a cool middle schooler, he will be here next week too.  Basically it was a day of me trying to encourage him / threatening to end his life.  Kind of the norm for me.  Sometimes I wonder how I made it as a youth pastor.  But I love it and I know my limits and I am always willing to sincerely apologize and I have needed to…

I posted a new devotional today (HERE).

Side Note:  My bands new song is sounding great.  Casey did a great job on the vocals, I am pretty excited!

I’m excited to get home tomorrow, even for a short time, I miss my lady.  We haven’t got to talk much only about 20 minutes a day.  Obligations… who needs em!

Random Thoughts of the Day:
“What are these pink fluffy dots on my shirt?”
“Why do I say the things that I say?”
“Why does Jared, a 26 year old man, still play magic?”
“It’s amazing what a kid will do for the opportunity to be on a video.”
“Double friend zoned!”
“No Aaron, Beautiful Feet, is not a horrible analogy!”
